I love Jan King! Every now and then you meet someone with whom
you have an immediate connection. I had one with her. But
more than that, she gave me some great, new, and immediately
usable ideas about how to present my books and my speaking
topics, which I hope will increase my visibility this year. She
also connected me with just the right people - resulting in a
speaking engagement at a national conference for women later
this year.

Jan, you and your team have done it again! The
second annual eWomenPublishingNetwork Conference completely
transformed my vision of my business--again! When I arrived at
the conference I had a kernel of an idea for my next book. After
attending the informative, detailed break out sessions, I'm
leaving with enough ideas to create an entire line of products.

Jan King has a special service and knows what
it takes. Her advice, support and encouragement is
priceless. If you want the truth about your book concept, get
money saving resources and ideas while minimizing costly
production errors, plus work your way through the maze
of marketing a book - don't waste another minute. My book would
not have been a reality without the coaching and network of
aspiring women authors. Thanks, Jan, you are not only a great
resource for us...you are an amazing coach and support person.

PowHERful Leadership Lessons for Women Who Don't Golf
I had accumulated a significant body of work over the past ten years from consistently writing a weekly column for a local newspaper. I have also been writing personal development seminars for the past thirty-four years.
Writing a book was the next logical step. The project sat parked in the land of shoulds. I should write a book, but not now. It moved to the have-to list. It felt daunting but if I forced myself, I would make it happen through sheer willpower.
Luckily, a respected client referred me to Jan King.
By phone, Jan gave me a comprehensive overview of the process of creating a book. I told her that as soon as I was ready to stretch out of my comfort zone, I would take on the project. Her response set the tone for our exceptional working relationship.
She said: I do not want you to stretch outside of your comfort zone. I want you to fully stand in your expertise and entice me into your work. Your job is to entice your readers, your audience, by sharing what you already know. My job is to help you to create the best way to do that.
Jan has guided, directed, questioned, suggested and stayed both committed to and involved with each step of the creation of the best book I am presently capable of producing.
Her expertise shines through her clarity and discernment. Her sense of humor and unfailing encouragement has made this process both delightful and a significant, positive new growth experience for me both personally and professionally.
--Susan McNeal Velasquez, Beyond Intellect: A Journey Into the Wisdom of Your Intuitive Mind
Jan has been an invaluable resource and mentor for me. She has a wealth of knowledge, years of experience, and practical advice that anyone who is serious about book publishing needs to tap into. Truly, I would not be where I am today without her.
--Erica Olsen, author of Strategic Planning for Dummies (Wiley, 2006)
Like many would-be authors, I have been pregnant with this calling for a very long time. I have taken self-help author courses and how-to-get published workshops and hired consultants before. Some were great. Some were expensive 'miscarriages'.
When I met Jan King in 2005, I felt a strong sense that I was finally in the right place at the right time with the right person to midwife this into a reality. I actually started to cry (happy tears).
Today I am celebrating a beautiful, bouncing 254-page book, about to be birthed into the world to equip achieving women to fuel healthier success and love the lives they are meant to lead.
I am grateful to Jan for her confidence-building encouragement, practical support, and for shedding light on navigating the multi-faceted stages and details of publishing. It takes a village. I have gone from being a solo home office coach to hiring 14 different people to create something we could be proud of. Just learning what kind of help, when to hire and what to budget was a huge help.

From Taking the Reins: Let Horses Teach You to Lead with Spirit, Jean Starling (2007):
I want to say a particular thank you to Jan B. King of eWomenPublishingNetwork. When I called Jan and told her I had an idea for a book, I had no idea what to expect. As an unknown writer with an unpublished memoir, I was unsure of myself and my abilities. I had never met Jan, but she immediately took time to listen to me and encourage me to proceed with my new idea. Over the next few months when I felt as if I did not have the talent or the knowledge to write this book, she continued to encourage me and to tell me that this was a worthwhile venture. Without her consistent encouragement, help, and pushback to do better, this book would not have been written. Jan, I owe you much more than I could ever repay. Keep up your work, you are needed.
From Life Moxie: 9 Strategies for Taking Life by the Horns, Ann Tardy (2007):
